2023 Honda Dio 125 - New Engine & Specifications
Powering the Honda Dio 125 is a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, and fuel-injected engine. This engine is also OBD2 compliant. It generates 8.14 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 10.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine incorporates Honda Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology, which ensures efficient performance and reduced emissions. The Dio 125 also features Honda ACG Starter for smooth and silent engine starts.
New Design And Colours
The Honda Dio 125 retains the sporty scooter styling that made it popular via the 110cc variant. In terms of design, it features a sporty outlook. At the front, it gets a V-shaped LED DRL on the headlight cowl while the LED headlight is positioned at the centre. Alloy wheels and a petal disc brake further enhance the stylish appearance of the Honda Dio, combining both style and functionality. The Dio 125 is available in seven attractive colour options - Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Pearl Night Star Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and Sports Red.
New Features
The Dio 125 comes equipped with a range of smart features. It offers the Honda's H-Smart tech, a smart key with functions like smart find, unlock/lock, & start/stop technology. The new Dio 125 scooter also features a fully digital instrument console, Honda's Combi-braking system (CBS), an idle start-stop system, and ample storage space. Additionally, riders can enjoy real-time information like trip meter, tachometer, etc.

New Hardware
The Dio 125 offers a comfortable and stable ride with its hardware components. It features telescopic suspension at the front with a 3-step adjustable rear suspension. Additionally, the new Dio 125 comes equipped with a 190mm single-disc brake at the front end. However, the rear end of it gets a drum brake. The front tyre profile of the Dio includes a 12-inch alloy wheel while the rear gets a 10-inch alloy wheel.
