The eagerly awaited 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is poised for a grand launch, with deliveries slated to commence in late January. Nevertheless, upon the commencement of pre-bookings for the Creta facelift, the Korean automaker declared that individuals who had reserved the previous Creta would have the option to switch to the facelifted version.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift: Details

Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hyundai Motor India, recently shared that the company is facing a substantial backlog of orders as of the end of 2023. There are around 90,000 units from Hyundai's lineup yet to be delivered to customers, with the Creta representing more than 25 per cent of this backlog.
To address this situation, Hyundai plans to unveil the Creta 2024 on January 16. Despite the significant order backlog, the company aims to streamline deliveries by making them concurrent with both the pre-facelift and refreshed Creta models. This implies that customers who book the updated Creta won't have to endure a lengthy wait, with deliveries expected to commence by the end of January.

The updated Creta comes with some tweaks to its front, showcasing a new grille and lighting design. At the back, you'll notice a connected lighting setup with a subtle adjustment to the bumper. The side profile, however, remains unchanged. Beyond the exterior facelift to align with newer Hyundai models, the Creta will feature the Alcazars full digital dials and various updates in terms of features. The facelift promises added features, including a noteworthy addition the Level 2 Advanced Driver Aids System, offering 19 features for enhanced safety.

In terms of performance, the refreshed Creta will be equipped with the new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine introduced in the Verna, alongside the previously available 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. Anticipate an increase in Creta facelift prices compared to the current Rs 10.87 lakh-19.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) range. With these enhancements, the Creta aims to stand out in a competitive market, facing challenges from rivals like the Kia Sonet, Honda Elevate, and the Maruti Grand Vitara .
