Kawasaki India introduces the 2024 KLX300R and KX85 dirt bikes, priced at Rs 5.60 lakh and Rs 4.20 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. 2024 Kawasaki KX 85 And KLX 300R - What To Expect?
Additional details about the bikes have been disclosed, with both models being offered in the vibrant "LIME GREEN" colour. The Kawasaki KX85 is equipped with an 84cc two-stroke engine and a six-speed gearbox, although specific power and torque figures remain undisclosed. Conversely, the Kawasaki KLX 300R features a 292cc four-stroke engine, delivering 29bhp at 8,000rpm and 26.5Nm at 7,000rpm, coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Notably, the KLX300R is equipped with USD forks at the front, and a rear mono-shock, and provides 285mm of wheel travel at both ends.

The KX85 relies on a tubular, semi-double cradle frame, supported by 36mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Offering versatility, the front features adjustable compression damping, while the rear KYB shock is fully adjustable. With 275mm of wheel travel at both ends, the KX85 smoothly manoeuvres on 17-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels equipped with Dunlop MX33 tires.
On the other hand, the KLX300R boasts an ERGO-FIT four-way adjustable handlebar, designed for customization based on the rider's size and preference. Riding on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the KLX300R excels in overcoming obstacles on various trails efficiently.
Both bikes are exclusively crafted for young riders and off-road adventures, emphasizing dirt riding.
