1. Design: Just The Dzire You Desired
The 2024 Maruti Dzire boasts a refreshed design, featuring a new horizontal slat grille, crystalline LED headlamps with distinctive LED DRLs, and an aggressive new front bumper, and while it does look a little like you know who, it has been refreshed to quite a tasteful update, marking a significant shift in the Dzire line-up. The side profile showcases new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the rear end features a Y-shaped LED taillight, a redesigned boot lid, and a new bumper. This new identity is something that the Dzire commanded owing to its massive success in the segment. And don't worry, you won't be having this for your next Ola/Uber ride as the previous gen Dzire will take care of that.

The interior game has been updated as well for the Dzire which now gets a more premium-looking front layout with a better visual appeal along with functional upgrades. The Dzire shares its dashboard layout with the Swift but offers a distinct color scheme. The interior features a Beige and Black color theme with wooden accents and redesigned AC vents. The 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the car is equipped with automatic climate control, wireless charging, a rear AC vent, and multiple charging ports. However, the biggest update has to be the single-pane electric sunroof that is here to do it all for the
3. Now Firing Up 3-cylinders
The fourth-generation Maruti Dzire continues to be powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Swift that delivers 82 PS of power and 111.7 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti claims fuel efficiency figures of 24.79 km/l for the manual and 25.71 km/l for the AMT. For the CNG variant, it features the same 1.2-liter engine tuned to produce 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of torque. This variant is exclusively offered with a 5-speed manual transmission and claims a fuel efficiency of 33.73 km/kg.

The all-new Dzire delivers a star-studded 5-star performance becoming the first ever Maruti car ever to score a full house of 5-star rating from the Global NCAP with some really impressive scores. It rides on the back of the fact that the safety suite is now much better than before including features like 6 airbags as a standard, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, 3-point seat belt for all 5 passengers, ISOFIX child mounts, and much more.

Verdict
The new 2024 Dzire is a refreshing update which not only brings ist best foot forward in terms of design and features, but the safety is something that has been given equal attention, surpassing its own standards. After this update, I expect a lot of cros segment shoppers, especially from the compact sub 4-meter SUVs to take a better look at this sedan, and with a brand name like Maruti Suzuki, it might even dent the sales of bigger and less safer contenders as well.
