Snakes in vehicles!
The cold-blooded reptiles like snakes often take shelter in vehicles to regulate their body temperature and keep them warm. Most of the snakes are harmless and poisonless. However, if you stay in an area where there are a lot of long grasses and green cover, make sure that you always check the vehicle properly before getting aboard. Imagine if the snake had come out while riding the scooter. Also, it is always a good idea to call the animal rescue to handle such situations. They relocate the animals in a safer environment, which is away from the humans.
How to stop snakes?
You cannot do much about the snakes from entering your vehicle. But there are a few ways that can ensure that you do not get caught in the situation.
- Park your vehicle away from tall grasses. Snakes often wander in such areas and enter the vehicle easily.
- The warm engine bay is an attraction for the snake to take shelter and regulate the body temperature. Always do a quick check and peek in the engine bay before you start driving.
- If you spot a snake while riding or driving, park the vehicle on the side of the road without panicking.
