Ashok Leyland, flagship of Hinduja Group has showcased new CNG H-Series engine in Excon 2022. The all-new CNG H-series engine in 4 and 6-cylinder layout is built for off-highway / construction equipment manufacturers. This new engine, according to the business, is the first of its kind in India, designed specifically for construction, mining, and highway vehicles. The engine was showcased in Excon 2022 which is held from May 17 to May 21.
The H series CNG engine includes ECU-controlled gas leak detection, improved cold start capability, enhanced lower-end torque, and flat torque from 1200rpm to 2000rpm; gear-based torque control for better fuel economy; durable engine valves and valve seats for CNG operation; proven, durable engine for CEV application; turbocharged engine provides higher torque, fuel efficiency, better drivability, and transient response; maintenance-free engine.

The CNG engine H series also meets CEV V regulations without SCR or DPF, and has proven multipoint sequential gas injection for consistent performance, a 500-hour oil drain interval, and the industry's highest power output.
