Ather 450x vs 450 comparison - Battery and Range
Ather earlier introduced a 18650 lithium-ion battery which is now replaced by a 21700 lithium-ion battery. The battery recently installed has better energy density, usable power without affecting the packaging, and thermal management. A plus point was that Ather was able to replace the battery with the same chassis without disturbing the battery bays dimensions.
With an update in its battery, Ather increased the fast charging rate from 1km/minute to 1.45 km/minute. That means this one is 45% faster than the previous one. Due to a larger battery, the e-Scooter might take longer than usual with the 5A charging socket. On the other hand, Ather 450 takes 5 hours 30 minutes to charge completely whereas the 450X would take 15 minutes extra and will get fully charged in 5 hours 45 minutes.
