Ather Energy is all set to launch its first family electric scooter the Rizta on 6 April. The brand has already teased the scooter multiple times, and a new teaser of the electric scooter has been released recently. Along with the new teaser the brand has also opened the pre-bookings of the upcoming scooter. Interested customers can book the scooter on the brand's website at Rs 999. Ather Rizta Electric Scooter - 'Puri Family Baith Sakti Hai'
In the newly launched teaser the brand has emphasized the term 'Puri Family Baith Sakti Hai', this shows the length of the seat which has space for everyone. This will be the first family scooter by the brand, it will offer a big seat, more under seat storage and a more family-friendly design. The brand has also showcased the 400mm water-wading capabilities of the scooter recently.
The previous spy shots of the scooter have showcased LED headlamps, a curvaceous design compared to the sharp design of the previous Ather electric scooter. On the features front, it is expected to get a TFT instrument cluster, USB charging port, and Bluetooth connectivity with navigation support among other features.
Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Battery Specifications
As of now, the brand has not yet revealed the battery specifications of the Rizta electric scooter. We anticipate it to come with the same battery pack as the Ather 450X which comes with two battery pack options. It comes with a 3.7 kWh battery pack and a 2.9 kWh battery. Any one of these battery packs is expected to be available in the Ather Rizta.

Verdict
Ather Rizta will be the first family oriented electric scooter by the brand. Till now the brand was making sharp and sporty electric scooters, but the launch of the Rizta will help the brand to foray in the mass family scooter market. The Rizta will enter in competition with Hero Vida V1, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube electric scooters.
