What Does the Teaser Reveal?

The teaser image shared by VLF provides a glimpse of the LED taillight, which resembles that of the Tennis 1500W. Interestingly, the same design is also found on the international-spec Tennis 4000W. Adding to the intrigue, the image features the word "Milano", hinting at an Italian design influence. Accompanying the image is a caption that reads, "Something sleek, something bold, something Italian." This statement suggests that the new offering could carry a mix of performance and aesthetics.

VLF's Existing Lineup

VLF made its entry into the Indian market in November last year with the launch of the Tennis 1500W. Priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), this retro-styled scooter comes in three colors: Snowflake White, Fire Fury Dark Red, and Slate Gray. It is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 130 km on a full charge. The electric scooter can go up to a top speed of 65 kmph. The battery requires approximately three hours for a complete recharge.
Meanwhile, the international-spec Tennis 4000W offers a higher-performance alternative. This variant uses a 2.8 kWh battery, which is capable of generating 232 Nm of torque and can achieve a top speed of 100 kmph. However, its range is slightly lower, offering 100 km per charge when driven at an optimal speed of 40 kmph. A full charge takes between five and six hours.
What to Expect from the Upcoming Model?

Given the teaser, VLF could be gearing up for one of the following possibilities. An affordable version of the Tennis 1500W, making EVs more accessible to Indian buyers, and a localized version of the Tennis 4000W, bringing enhanced performance to the Indian market. And because the rear end of the teased scooter has a Milano Edition mention, we can also expect a special edition of the Tennis 1500W, featuring aesthetic upgrades or performance tweaks.
