Ather Rizta's Durability Revealed: Ather's Battery Drop Test Delivers Promise
In a unique demonstration of its toughness, the company conducted a drop test at its plant. The video shared on their social media platforms, features the Rizta's battery pack being dropped from a height of 40 feet. Despite the impact, the aluminium-cased battery pack appears to be undamaged.

Ather Energy plant, based in Hosur, has been assembling the battery packs that power its 450 series electric scooters. This same process will be applied to the battery pack for Rizta.
The drop test conducted by Evmaker serves to highlight the battery pack's durability, showcasing its ability to withstand the shocks and impacts encountered while riding over rough terrain such as bumps, potholes, and tall speed breakers.
Verdict
From a customer's perspective, the demonstrated durability of the Rizta's battery pack is promising, potentially translating to fewer maintenance costs over time. However, actual performance and longevity need to be observed post-launch to gauge its true value for money.
