Audi India is on full gas this year as we have seen back to back launches. A few months ago, we saw the launch of the Audi RS7 Sportback and that came with a whopping price tag of 1.94 crores. Now Audi has launched the RSQ8 - the fastest SUV around the Nurburgring and it has been priced at Rs 2.07 Crores. The price is really amazing and it makes the RS7 feel overpriced. Audi RSQ8 offers a ton of equipment including 23-inch alloy wheels! That's the biggest ever fitted to a super SUV.
The exteriors of the RSQ8 are sporty and Audi has done a good job in differentiating it from the regular Q8. We get a gloss black single-frame grille with honeycomb mesh, flanked with all-LED headlights. The lower part of the bumper gets vertical air vents and RS strips. The side profile of the RSQ8 is impressive - all thanks to the 23-inch low profile tyres. The rear gets RS roof spoiler, connected LED taillights and dual over RS exhaust.

The interiors of the RSQ8 are equally impressive. As it embodies the RS power, we get all-black interiors with RS sports seats at the front. The dashboard is offered in gloss black with some red inserts. The centre stage is taken by twin crisp touchscreens - the first one is the main infotainment whereas the other one controls the AC and drive select. Audi is famous for its virtual cockpit and the steering of the RSQ8 also gets RS1 and RS2 modes - which are highly customisable. Buyers can also choose RS heads-up display and Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Under the long hood of the RSQ8 is the 4.0-litre TFSI twin-turbo V8 producing 600hp and 800 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic and further assisted by a 48v battery pack. The RSQ8 can sprint from nought to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and the top whack is limited to 250 km/h. I don't know if you care but the RSQ8 also get COD (Cylinder on Demand) which can shut 4 cylinders when cruising, to increase the fuel efficiency. If you take the RS driver's package, the RSQ8 can touch 305 km/h. The power is channelled to all four wheels via Audi's impeccable Quattro all-wheel-drive system which can send 70% of the total power to the front and 85% power at the rear wheels.

Talking about the optional accessories which can be opted, Audi offers gloss black pack which includes black touches all around including logos, panoramic sunroof, red brake callipers, RS ceramic brakes, heads up display, RS sports exhaust, Matrix LED headlights, B&O sound system and RS dynamic pack. Audi has launched the RSQ8 at Rs 2.07 Crore ex-showroom, without options. The pricing of the RSQ8 is the highlight as it is a smidge more expensive than the RS7 but much more affordable than its Italian sibling - Lamborghini Urus. And mind you, the fastest SUV around the renowned ring is the RSQ8 and not the Bull.
