Bajaj Auto has opened the nationwide booking of the world's first CNG motorcycle the Freedom 125 from today. Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Motorcycle
The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle comes with a 125cc petrol+CNG engine producing 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle features a 2 kg CNG cylinder and a 2-litre petrol tank. If we talk about the efficiency, the brand claims the combined range of the motorcycle is 330 km. The individual range on CNG is claimed to be 220 km on a single CNG tank.
Feature-wise the Freedom 125 comes with digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamp, front disc brake among other features. Moreover, it comes in 7 colour options and three different variants. The hardware of the motorcycle include telescopic front fork, mono-link suspension at rear, front dis brake and rear drum brake.
Commenting on the commencement of the nationwide delivery Mr. Sarang Kanade, President Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto Ltd. said, "The Bajaj Freedom 125 launch has generated almost unprecedented consumer interest in this innovation, which helps deliver significant operating cost savings as well as a greener ride as compared to traditional petrol bikes. We are working hard to ensure that we meet this demand by expanding distribution rapidly across our expansive dealer network. Booking is now open across the country."

Verdict
Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG is a bold move made by Bajaj Auto, the fuel efficient CNG option will definitely bring some reform in the two-wheeler segment. Now, it will be interesting to see, how the customers will absorb this transition of petrol to CNG two-wheeler.
