Bajaj is planning to soon launch the new quarter-litre Pulsar motorcycle in the Indian market. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 naked streetfighter and the semi-faired Pulsar 250F have already been spied on test in the country at several instances. Now, the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250 has been recently spotted again doing test rounds but this time along with its Austrian sibling.
The upcoming new-generation KTM RC series motorcycle was also spotted along with the upcoming quarter-litre Pulsar. However, since the RC was camouflaged, it is difficult to make out whether it is the new-gen RC 200 or the new-gen RC 390. The riders of both these motorcycles were filling up the fuel tank of these machines at a petrol pump when they were snapped. As we can see, the RC seems to be production-ready and it might be launched very soon. The new KTM RC series will be getting comprehensive updates.
The new-gen KTM RC 200 and the RC 390 will be getting an all-new design, revised chassis, new features, etc. However, the powertrain is expected to remain the same as before. The bookings for these supersport motorcycles are already open at select KTM dealerships across the country. Now, if we talk about the Pulsar 250, so it was spotted on the test but no new details have emerged about the motorcycle. We already know that the Pulsar 250 will be an all-new motorcycle and it is being developed from the ground up.

The Pulsar 250 will get some new features like an all-LED headlamp with LED DRLs and LED taillamps. It might get an all-digital instrument cluster too. However, it won't get premium hardware bits like USD forks, etc. The Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to get the same engine that also powers the Dominar 250. However, Bajaj might tune it slightly differently to match its character. The Dominar 250 is powered by a BS6 compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 27 PS of power and 23.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and recently, it received a massive price cut too.
