TPEM and BPCL have joined forces to enhance the experience for electric vehicle (EV) owners in India. They're considering introducing a user-friendly payment system with a co-branded RFID card, making it simpler for Tata EV users to make payments and encouraging more people to switch to electric vehicles.
BPCL, with its extensive network of over 21,000 Fuel Stations, is dedicated to a sustainable future by integrating strategy, investments, and environmental goals. They have ambitious plans to set up 7,000 electric vehicle charging stations by the next year. To address concerns about the range of electric vehicles, BPCL has kickstarted more than 90 Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Highway Corridors across the country. These corridors ensure a fast-charging station approximately every 100 kilometres on both sides of major highways, covering over 30,000 kilometres. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of electric vehicles, making them a more viable and attractive option for users nationwide.
