The deliveries of BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS will commence from this week and according to our sources, the bookings for both of them have crossed to 1000+ bookings. What makes this duo special? Well, we are listing out some points and stay tuned for that.

One of the main factors which make these bikes special in the Indian market is their pricing. The Roadster version starts from Rs 2.45 lakh while the GS gets a sticker price of Rs 2.85 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. So that makes these duos the most affordable units from BMW. When compared these new BS6 bikes with their BS4 models then the 310 R is cheaper by Rs 55,000 while the GS is Rs 65,000 cheaper.

Both the bikes here gets a BS6 compliant 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. This one makes 32 bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 7500 RPM. It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and the new ride by wire throttle technology and an electronic throttle grip.
Performance-wise the company claims that 0-50 km/h sprint is well achieved in just 2.5 seconds. That is very good of the bikes this size. The top speed of both the bikes is limited to 143 km/h which is sufficient for Indian roads. One can expect a mileage between 30 - 35 km/l on both the bikes.
Both the bikes now receive new colour schemes and an updated muscular fuel tank. These bikes also have new radiator shrouds, belly pan and tank extensions. The LED treatment is observed in the headlights, DRLs and the indicators. On an all, both these bikes in their new avatar look marvellous.
To further improve the sales, BMW if offering mind-blowing EMI schemes which starts from Rs 4500 per month and Rs 5500 per month for G 310 R and G 310 GS respectively. These EMI schemes extend maximum to 5 years or 60 months. There's one bullet EMI fixed for every 12th month which sticks to Rs 10,000. These schemes are valid on the ex-showroom, Delhi cost of the vehicle. For the insurance and the taxes, the owner has to give the charges.
