As we all know its COVID time and everything has come to a complete standstill. The Indian Government has announced a 55-day nationwide lockdown in the country to break the chain of this novel coronavirus. Due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown, the car dealerships have been temporarily shut down and every manufacturer is now seeking to sell their cars online. The latest carmaker to join this bandwagon is the Indian subsidiary of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) that sells the Jeep branded cars in India. FCA India has launched a new 'Touch-free' online retail platform to sell the Jeep-branded cars in the country through a digital module named 'Book My Jeep'.

FCA India has made the Jeep retail experience completely touch-free for the Indian customers by introducing a unique digital module called Book My Jeep. This module on Jeep Indias official website helps the prospective customers to choose their favourite car, its model, variant, engine and gearbox option along with the desired colour shade. After choosing the desired car and filling all other details and documentation, one can pay the booking amount through online payment options.
The company claims that the touch-free Jeep retail architecture is in line with the emerging retail trends in India. After paying the booking amount, the customer will be contacted by a sales representative from the nearest Jeep dealer to further guide the customer and also arrange a test drive in a fully sanitised vehicle at the buyers doorstep. Once everything is done, the final payment can be made on the same online module and then the all-new Jeep will be home delivered to the customer following all safety protocols.

Prospects will be able to book and own a Jeep, from their screens, without leaving the safety of their homes.

While, the digital module will do its job of providing information and collecting necessary customer data, our dealer personnel will continue to personalize the retail experience the human way."
