Ampere Electric Vehicle, an owned subsidiary of Greeves Cotton has announced an eco-friendly campaign, Kal Ko Bachao. In this, they are fulfilling the customer needs to own Ampere electric scooter as their mobility partner.
The campaign, 'Kal Ko Bachao' refers to three main things - a better environment, better health and higher savings. The company also extends its help to those customers and coronavirus fighters who are involved in delivering the essential goods.
One can book their Ampere Zeal scooters with a down payment of Rs 999 and can take the delivery and submit the rest of the amount post lockdown. The manufacturer also belives in contactless delivery and vehicle sanitisation. Anyone from New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai or Pune can book it via online.
Coming to the 'Kal Ko Bachao' campaign, the company has also told that for every scooter they sell, they will plant 12 trees which will lead towards a better environment for the future. Electric Vehicles are believed to reduce the running costs by 80%-90% and also reduce pollution.
With the pollution rising and most people having unknowingly respiratory diseases, electric scooters are a better alternative to the petrol ones. Ampere also believes that the electric scooter saves time in not queuing up at the petrol stations and this reducing social contact with people if they switch to electric scooters.
High-speed variant such as Zeal is a good alternative to traditional petrol scooters, as it offers great torque, speed, comfort and overall performance. It has been preferred by both heavy and lightweight riders.

Sharing more details on the Ampere Zeal then it costs you around Rs 66,950 and pricing includes a FAME subsidy of Rs 18,500. It comes with a 1.8kWh battery pack which covers a total distance of 75 km. The battery can be charged fully in a time span of 6 hours and the scooter offers two riding modes - Economy and Speed. The top speed one can reach is 55 km/h!
