As per the reports on the internet, Maruti is all set to launch the upcoming version of the 2022 Brezza on June 30. Now, several spy shots for the same have been spotted, however, the base variant of the same was never there. In this article, we will be sharing the images of the base variant of the 2022 Maruti Brezza and will be sharing each and every detail it gets!
As can be seen, on the outside, this SUV now gets bare-bone features. At the front, it misses out on the fog lights, faux skid plate and LED daytime running lights. Moving towards the side, there are body-coloured ORVMs compared to the gloss black available in higher variants, missing roof rails and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Maruti will be providing steel wheels without wheel caps in the base variant of the new Brezza. They followed a similar set-up with the base variant of the new 2022 Baleno too. The higher variants also get a gloss black roof, which is missing in this base variant of the Brezza.

Feature-wise, the base variant is expected to get all-four power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a front headrest and a manual HVAC function. Expect a 2-Din music system right from the base variant of the new Brezza sans the steering mounted controls.
For the higher variants, we do expect a 360-degree camera, head-up display, tyre pressure monitoring system, 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats and more.

Under the hood, the new Brezza will be powered by a 1.5-litre DualJet motor that is seen on the Maruti Ertiga and XL6. This naturally aspirated, four-cylinder motor belts out 102 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard and will also get a six-speed torque converter as an option.
As far as the prices are concerned then we do expect a bump from the current version. We expect it to be priced from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched, it will rival with Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.
