Powering the Chevrolet Spark was a 1.0-L engine. this engine churned out 63 bhp and 95.1 Nm of peak torque. This engine came mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The gearbox was smooth to operate and had a light clutch which made it very easy to drive in traffic and at slow city speeds. the car had a claimed ARAI mileage of 16.0 kmpl which made it an extremely practical car for day to day use.
