We present you the sales chart of Commercial Vehicles for January 2022
Commercial vehicles sales has registered an amazing double-digit growth in the month of January 2022. Recent data released by the Federation of Automobiles Dealer Association India (FADA) has shown a positive growth of 20.52 percent from January 2021.
A segment mix of LCV, HCV and MCV; the highest sales figures were registered by the HCV category. With a growth percent of 41.12 percent from January 2021 to 2022, the HCV segment has overcome the pandemic hit the market.

Tata Motors has seen the most growth by selling 30,079 units for January 2022 as compared to 21,965 units in January 2021. With efficient and good products in line up such as Prima, Intercity Coach, Venture, Ace, School Buses, Tarmac Coach etc., Tata Motors has topped the sales chart and proved to be most profitable in YoY sales percentage.
While the market share dipped from 24.44 percent to 21.11 percent, manufacturers such as Ashok Leyland, Mahindra and VE Commercial Vehicles reported sales growth.

Mahindra stands at second position in the sales charts by offering products with a give-back guarantee. Recently Mahindra's Truck and Bus Division announced the 'Get More Mileage or Give Truck Back' guarantee offer which shook the market. This offer is applicable for all the BS-VI lineup of Mahindra Trucks. Products such as HCV Blazo X, IVC Furio, Jayo range, and LCV Furio 7; this guaranteed offer has played in favor of Mahindra commercial unit.
Ashok Leyland on the other hand stood in the third position on the sales chart. While the domestic sales for the manufacturer recorded a growth of 25.96 percent, what helped Ashok Leyland is winning a bid of supplying 200 fully-built trucks including 3T trucks, hydraulic beam lifters, and sewage trucks for the Bangladesh government. This offer has helped Ashok Leyland to record good sales growth, especially in the international market. This offer also includes 65 units of Truck mounted wrecker made especially for the Bangladesh government.
While other makers such as Maruti, ISML Isuzu, Force recorded a decent increment in sales numbers, most of the market was captured by Tata Motors itself.
