Delhi Traffic Challan - Lok Adalat Details
While it is not the first time that such a special court is being set up; it is always a welcome move. To clear the pending challans & generate revenue, the special Lok Adalat court will be set up on 11 February. However, to get your challans waived, you need to register online. Once the registration is made and the time is reserved, one needs to generate an e-challan. This e-challan shall be carried into the court proceeding. This booking can be made via the challan number easily on the Delhi Traffic Police website.
Meanwhile, the further process involves the individual being present in front of the Magistrate at the given time. Magistrate can either offer a discount on the challan amount or even waive off the amount. Additionally, this special court will allow all types of offenders. The cases that are related to documents like PUCs & Insurance will also be entertained on this day.
