Here are the notable upcoming electric bikes and scooters that you need to know about.
1. Ultraviolette F77 - Ultraviolette automotive, a TVS backed start-up based out of Bengaluru aims to launch their maiden product, the F77 by the mid of this year. With a motor that produces a healthy 33 BHP and a MASSIVE 450 Nm at the wheels, expect the bike to pack quite some punch. It is also expected to come with approximately 170 to 180 km of range which will make a fairly decent city bike. Prices will be revealed upon closer to launch. However it is expected to be in the 2.5 to 2.8 lakh rupee range.

2. Suzuki Burgman Electric - While the conventional powered maxi scooters haven't really caught on with our country's market, Suzuki is still betting on this body style as they hope to bring in the electric version of the Burgman scooter. Pricing of this scooter is expected to be in the ball-park of 1.2-1.5 lakh rupees.
3. Emflux One - In what is a maiden offerring from yet another start-up company like the Ultraviolette F77, the Emflux One aims to be the first indigenously developed electric superbike for India. It is expected to come with an electric motor that produces 81 BHP and 84 Nm of torque. This bike is expected to do 0-100 in just 3 seconds. The price of the bike is rumoured to be in the ball-park of 5-6 lakh rupees.
4. Hero Maestro Electric - Hero motocorp too would be looking to jump on the electric 2 wheeler bandwagon as they look to introduce the maestro electric variant later this year. While not a lot about the scooter has been revealed, it is the expected that the performance is going to be comparable to that of the a 110cc motorcycle. Price is expected to be around 1 lakh rupees.

So these were the notable electric bikes and scooters that will be coming to our shores in 2021. Apart from these launches, OEMs such as Ather and Bajaj will be expanding their operations into more cities as they will be looking to get their chunk in the sales charts
