EVeium Czar electric scooter has made its India debut. It features a long-distance riding range of 150km/charge & has a top speed of up to 85 kmph.
The made-in-India EVeium Czar electric scooter has landed with a price tag of Rs 2.16 lakh. With such steep pricing, the new EV has a lot to offer. The new e-scooter embraces unique styling, high-speed performance, and long-distance riding range as well. The bookings will begin from 8 August with a minimal price of Rs 999.
Design & Features
EVeium has introduced 3 new e-scooters altogether in India. Prices start from Rs 1.44 lakh ex-showroom. Speaking of the Czar, it is based on a retro-modern theme contrary to its competitors. As most of the new EVs are designed with a futuristic approach, the Czar uses retro elements. The round design of the headlight, taillight, and body panels mimic the old-gen petrol scooters.
The single seat is long and wide, while the footboard allows the rider to carry luggage along. The company promises that the quality of the Czar is unbeatable. The components used are made of strong plastic so that they can last long easily. A long and wide luggage carrier is fixed above the taillight to carry additional luggage. This is a very thoughtful feature for potential buyers.
Additionally, it comes with alloy wheels but the design of the front and the rear alloy is different. The rear alloy has more spokes to provide the wheel with more strength. This is because the battery and electric motor is placed just above the rear wheel. Another interesting design aspect is the dual-spring front suspension. This is to provide it with subtle ride quality.
Feature-wise, Czar comes with different riding modes. These include - Eco, Normal, & Sport. Additionally, the touchscreen infotainment gets an Anti-Theft feature, Keyless Start, Regenerative braking, Mobile App Connectivity, Find my Vehicle feature, latest LCD Display, Real-time Tracking, Over-speed Alert, and Geofencing too. It also comes equipped with rear parking gear to reverse in tight traffic or parking spaces.
Engine & Specifications
In order to compete with the rivals like Ather 450X, TVS iQube, and the Ola S1 Pro; Czar comes equipped with a big battery pack. The 72V and 42Ah battery pack claim to provide it with a top speed of 85 kmph. Not just this, but, it can also achieve a long-distance riding range of up to 150km/charge.
While the claims are impressive, the steep pricing of Rs 2.16 lakh is a downer for the new buyers. We believe the new e-scooter shall be worth it once we get to ride it in detail. Until then, watch our space at 91Wheels YouTube for regular automotive updates.
