The future of mobility is said to be driven by electric vehicles. We have already seen new manufacturers launching electric vehicles in the Indian market and in the future, we will get to see a similar trend. Pune-based Everve Motors is all set to reveal their first product, which they claim to be India's most premium electric scooter at the 2020 Auto Expo.
The manufacturer has not revealed many details about the product but has shared two teaser images. The all-electric scooter will get an all-LED headlamp set-up in the front. To add a unique look, it will get a body-wide LED set-up that will also act as DRL. It will add a unique identity to the scooter and will allow customers to identify it easily on the roads. A round headlamp can be spotted just below the LED set-up.
A second image of the scooter shows its side. The electric two-wheeler gets a layered design that looks unique and very aggressive. There are also blue highlights all over the body. However, we are not sure if they are LED stripes or just highlights but they do look extremely good on the scooter.
Srinivas Reddy said, ⬓What⬢s crucial is to invent and manufacture a vehicle which not only meets the demands of the customers but is also environment-friendly. Our team has poured their heart and soul to create this product. Once the customer owns this luxurious and futuristic e-scooter, they will inherently become the member of the Everve Motors family where we will be at their constant service. We are stoked and cannot wait for the launch of this e-scooter that will make heads turn as soon as it hits the Indian roads.⬝
No mechanical details are known about the scooter. However, it will be able to do a top speed of 110 km/h. Also, the scooter will come with batteries that can be fully charged in just five hours. Just like the Bajaj Chetak EV and the Ather scooters, the upcoming electric scooter from Everve Motors will offer connected features. The users will be able to check the range, battery status, maps, error codes, mode information, boost, On-Air Updates and more. The scooter needs no special plug or set-up and it can be plugged to any household 5A socket.
The scooter is currently in the prototype stage and the production model is expected to be ready by the end of 2020. It claims to be powered by the most powerful lithium-ion batteries that power any electric scooter in India.
