One of the main highlights of the 2020 Auto Expo was showcasing the future of mobility that is combined with an electric vision. Evolet is one such manufacturer which showcased five new electric vehicles that were displayed at the Expo mart.
Evolet India, a Gurugram-based electric vehicle manufacturing organization and showcased a vast range of its e-vehicles, including the signature models of e-scooters -- Polo, Pony, and Derby. They also brought in Hawk which is an electric sports bike along with Raptor which is a Cruiser scooter and Warrior an ATV.
As for the commercial vehicles segment, they had an E-Auto and Lancer. The latter is an electric bus available in 9m and 12m variants. Evolet is a brand of new-age electric scooters, motorcycles, quad bikes, ambulances, mopeds, E-auto and Buses that holds ARAI and ICAT certification.
Hawk
The fully-faired electric sports bike that will have a driving range of up to 150 km. And the battery can be juiced up in just 3-4 hours. It will get a fully digital instrumental cluster, telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at rear suspension. With a brushless DC motor of 3000 watt and 72V 40 Ah lithium-ion battery, the Hawk will hit the market by June 2020.
Raptor
An electric cruiser scooter that is ideal for long-distance touring. It can attain a top speed of 120 km/h with a driving range of 100-250 km. The e-cruiser gets loads of features like a digital speedometer, mobile charging port along with IOT features.
Warrior
It is the country's first electric quad bike that is suited for off-roading purposes. It comes with waterproof BLDC motor giving an output of 3000-watt power that gives the maximum forward speed of 60 kmph and reverse speed of 20 kmph with 50 km per charge. With a host of accessories which are customisable, Warrior is available with 72 V/ 48 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery that takes 3-4 hours for charging and 72 V/ 48 Ah VRLA battery which takes around 6-7 hours for charging.
Dhanno
It is an e-moped designed to be used for loading items/goods in rural areas. Dhanno Brushless motor of 2000 watts 72V 26Ah Lithium-ion battery goes 80kms in a single charge that takes around 3-4 hours to a full charge and has a load capacity of 450 kgs. Evolet Dhanno comes with Disc breaks in front & rear drum breaks and has wheel size of 12⬝ inches. This strong load-bearing two-wheeler vehicle is expected on roads by June 2020.
E-auto
It is a specially designed lightweight 3 wheeler electric auto is available in passenger & cargo variants and can be used on road for other unlimited applications as well. It has a unique electric drive train with ergonomically designed seats & spacious passenger cabin.
The sheet metal body along with strong comfortable suspension and CDS tubular chassis gives an edge on vehicle sturdiness. With ARAI certified long-life Lithium-ion Battery, which charges in 2 hours, an inbuilt GPS for navigation with TFT display, the vehicle is cloud & mob app connected. E-auto has a top speed of 60kms/hrs with a driving range of 120kms.
