EVTRIC Axis & EVTRIC Ride Launched: Price, Colours, Range Explained

EVTRIC Motors, an electric mobility based venture has launched two electric scooters by the name EVTRIC AXIS and EVTRIC RIDE- e-scooters that are the epitome of elegance and contemporary style. The EVTRIC Axis and EVTRIC Ride come at an affordable price of INR 64,994 and 67,996 respectively.

According to EVTRIC Motors, the EVTRIC Axis is aimed at the younger population of the country as the electric scooter is fun and agile just like the youngbloods in India. The brand also mentioned that they anticipate Indian Families to consider the EVTRIC Ride as it provides more seating space unlike other e-scooters in the slow speed segment.

"We have been in the automation space for over a decade. And now we are executing the same in the most ambitious automobile revolution in the history of India. We have begun with the slow-speed e-scooter category. Given the current technology, this would be a justified buy for the day-to-day commute of users. These products will fall in line with the customer expectations leaving them with economic travel and smooth experience," Manoj Patil, MD and founder, EVTRIC Motors, said.

Colours:

EVTRIC Axis comes in vibrant colours such as Mercury white, Lemon yellow, Persian red and Emperor grey to match the style and trend of the youth. On the other hand, the EVTIRC Ride is designed to meet the requirements of Indian families and comes in a range of deep colours like Deep Cerulean Blue, Silver, Nobel grey, Persian red and Mercury white.

Motor and capacity:

As for the e-scooters, they come with the option to detach the lithium-ion batteries making charging more convenient. The EVTRIC Axis and Ride come with a maximum load-carrying capacity of 150kg and a 250W motor that has the full potential to carry the weight aforementioned.

Range capacity:

Interestingly, it takes only about 3.5 hours for the batteries to juice up fully. The battery pack has the capacity to cover over 75km on a single charge. However, the top speed of the e-scooters is just 25km/hr.

Features:

The EVTIRC Axis and EVTRIC Ride come with LED headlamps to brighten up the world. They are equipped with chassis that are welded with assistance from automated robotics that makes their frame robust. In addition to these, the two e-scooters get side stand sensors, 12-inch tubeless tyres that provide ground clearance of 190mm, making every ride stress free. Like the premium e-scooters out of its segment, these two e-scooters get a unique reverse park assist function thus, making it a feature-loaded machine.

As of now, the customers of EVTRIC is getting 2+ years of battery warranty in addition to the unique features. Also, the booking is said to open online as well as offline. Official online booking is said to be conducted at zero booking amount as well as for bookings by select e-tailers like e-Wheelers, Quickry Cart and ATIYAS mobility Pvt Ltd.

With regards to the delivery of the e-scooter, the press release mentioned that in the first phase, the brand will deliver e-scooters only to 7 cities: Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Tirupati, and Hyderabad. The company is said to be working towards delivering e-scooters to all the major cities in India in the near future.
