The automobile industry has been greatly affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the automotive brands of the country are launching lucrative offers to attract buyers. In a similar move, Ford has also launched the Ford 6 Months EMI Skip Plan which can be availed by the customers looking to buy the Ecosport, Aspire, Figo, or the Freestyle. The brand has also introduced a Step-Up Plan for the buyers.
Under the Ford 6 Months EMI Skip Plan, the buyers will not have to pay the first six EMIs as the payment cycle will start from the seventh month. This scheme is valid only on the loans which have a 5 years duration. The brand is also offering an interest rate of 8.99 percent for Ecosport buyers while for the customers who want to buy the Aspire, Figo, or the Freestyle, the interest rate will be 9.50 percent.

In addition to this, the brand is also offering a step-up plan under which the customers can start a loan with an EMI of Rs 1,727 per month/lakh if they buy the Ecosport and an EMI of Rs 1,777 per month/lakh if they buy any other car from the brand's line-up. Under this scheme, the buyers will have to pay a 10 percent higher EMI from the second year onwards. The interest rate for customers who opt for this scheme will be 8.99 percent for EcoSport buyers while for others, it will be 10.15 percent.

It is worth noting the fact that all the schemes are valid for cars booked before 31 July 2020. Also, none of the above-mentioned schemes is valid for Ford Endeavour buyers. To take on rivals, the brand also launched the Titanium AT variant which is powered by the 1.5-L Dragon-series petrol engine which makes the automatic model affordable by Rs 90,000.
