Ford India has been tweaking its products with some enhancements to take on the rivals. Recently, we saw the launch of the Freestyle Flair which came with some aesthetic enhancements. Toyota launched the Fortuner TRD edition recently and here is now Ford coming with the Endeavour Sport edition. The Endeavour Sport edition will take on the likes of the Fortuner TRD edition and come with blacked-out bits and alloys!
The images you see here are of the Endeavour Sport which has been exclusively spied in a dealer's stockyards. As the dealer dispatch has begun, we expect the Endeavour Sport to get launched this month itself. If we dive in the looks and changes, the front grille is now blacked out and comes with a honeycomb mesh instead of 2-slat chrome. The projector headlamps are also blacked-out. The brushed chrome inserts on the front bumper are now coloured in black.

Moving to the side profile, we have all-black 6-spoke alloy wheels shod with A/T tyres. The size is unknown but we expect it to be the same 18-inch we get on normal Endeavour. The ORVMs have been blacked out and the fender garnish is in black too with "Sport" badging. The side running boards are blacked-out and "Sport" decals have been added on the rear door's ends. The rear profile of the Endeavour Sport gets blacked-out "Endeavour" sill, Sport decal and blacked-out bumper garnish.
Other than these aesthetic changes, the features and specs are expected to remain the same. However, we can expect some dealer-level fitments for the Endeavour Sport - like wireless charging, rear entertainment etc. The Endeavour Sport will continue to get power from the 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 170PS and 420 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 10-speed gearbox (First in India) and 4x4 drivetrain. However, lower variants are available with 4x2 drivetrain only.

The launch of the Ford Endeavour Sport is expected to take place in the coming weeks and bookings will open soon too. Ford may charge a premium for the Sport over other models of the Endeavour - as we see in case of Freestyle Flair. Right now, the Ford Endeavour range starts from Rs 29.99 lakh and goes to Rs 34.45 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
