Ford India only sells the Endeavour in the Indian market which is garnering good sales for the brand. Lifestyle pickup truck segment is in its nascent stage in India but it will surely grow. The only example of this segment is the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross which is yet to come in its BS6 update. But what if you want a performance-oriented lifestyle pickup truck, there is one option for you. There is a Ford Ranger Raptor India-imported MY19 listed for sale in the used car market but it is expensive.
The Raptor moniker represents the performance lifestyle pickup trucks from Ford and the Ranger is the smallest truck in the series. Ford sells the Ranger Raptor in Australia and the normal Ranger pickup was also spied in India recently. However, this one being the Raptor, we have got beefed-up suspension and bi-turbo diesel engine mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The truck is MY19 but is said to be registered in 2020 with the ODO readout of 1,500 km.

Talking about the styling, the model is specced with Ford Performance Blue colour and comes with 33-inch offroad tyres. The Ranger Raptor also comes with Race-Bred suspension which offers 30% more wheel travel. The wheel arches are bigger in the Raptor with additional cladding and we also get to see a bash plate for added safety whilst offroading.

Coming to the interiors features, the truck comes with Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. As it is the Raptor, we get front sports seats, sporty dials, magnesium paddle shifters with the leather-wrapped sports steering wheel. Talking about its offroad prowess, we have 6-mode terrain management system with offroad-spec suspension. Ford claims that the Raptor will conquer every terrain without any additional mods needed.
While we just pray that Ford brings the Ranger Raptor in India one day, you can make it yours if you have deep pockets. This fully imported Ford Raptor Ranger comes with an India asking price of Rs 1.1 Crore. That is huge for a pick-up truck which costs similar to the Endeavour in Australian markets. The truck is HP registered and has been driven just 1500 km by a single owner.
