The split screen can be adjusted to fit touchscreens of different sizes, including portrait, widescreen, and dual-display configurations. It also gets a progress indicator for media, and conversation shortcuts make it easier to make calls and send messages.
New Capabilities
Along with the new design, it is now simpler than ever to take care of some of your most common demands while driving. Now smart ideas from Google Assistant include reminders for missed calls, quick arrival time sharing, and instant access to music or podcasts. Shortcuts on the screen expedite dialing calls and responding to messages. Additionally, Google has added a progress bar for music and podcasts.
Digital Car Key Sharing
To make it simpler to give friends and family members access to your car, you can currently share your digital car key between Pixel and iPhone. Samsung phones will soon support key sharing, while Xiaomi users will have access to digital vehicle keys later this year, both for personal use and for sharing. Additionally, digital car keys, which are now supported by BMW cars, will continue to be supported by other automakers. Your friends and family can use the car key you share with them; they simply need to enter a code to open the door.
