Kia expands the Syros lineup with the new HTK (EX) variant, positioned as a mid-spec option to bridge the gap between lower and higher trims. Priced from around Rs 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom), it adds features like full LED lighting, a sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a rear camera, enhancing overall value. The variant continues with the same petrol and diesel engine options, offering a balanced mix of features and affordability. 

Kia announces that the Syros has secured a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests, reinforcing its safety credentials in the segment. The SUV scores 30.21/32 for adult occupant protection and 44.42/49 for child occupant protection, showcasing strong crash performance. With this result, the Syros emerges as one of the safest compact SUVs in India. 

Kia has announced that the Syros has crossed 15,000 unit sales in just two months since launch, highlighting strong initial demand. The compact SUV also contributes around 20% to Kia’s total sales in March, making it one of the brand’s key performers. Its popularity is driven by a spacious cabin, feature-rich interior and competitive pricing positioned between the Sonet and Seltos.

Kia has launched the Syros in India at a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom), expanding its SUV lineup between the Sonet and Seltos. The compact SUV comes with 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. It also offers features like dual digital displays, connected tech and Level 2 ADAS, making it a tech-loaded option in its segment.

Kia has revealed the official ARAI mileage figures for the Syros, with the diesel manual variant delivering a peak efficiency of 20.75 kmpl. Petrol versions return between 17.68 kmpl and 18.20 kmpl, while the diesel automatic offers around 17.65 kmpl depending on the configuration. These figures position the Syros as a relatively efficient option in the compact SUV segment.
