Harley-Davidson X440 - Deliveries
Hero MotoCorp is scheduled to commence production of the Harley-Davidson X440 in September at its Garden Factory located in Neemrana, Rajasthan, in northern India. The brand plans to initiate customer deliveries starting from October 2023. Deliveries will be carried out on a prioritized basis according to the booking dates.
Mr. Niranjan Gupta, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Hero MotoCorp, said, "We are now announcing the new price that will be applicable for the next window of online bookings. The current online booking window with an introductory price closes on 3 August. Its a fantastic opportunity to avail of the benefit and own a Harley-Davidson."
Verdict
The increase in the price of the Harley-Davidson X440 may discourage some prospective buyers. The brand's decision to raise the price ahead of the deliveries indicates a positive response from the market. However, the HD X440 faces tough competition in terms of pricing from the Triumph Speed 400, which starts at Rs 2.33 lakh (Ex-showroom).
