Over four lakh Hero Electric vehicles have been sold in the market and despite a number of players coming into this market, the brand managed to grab a whopping 36 per cent market share. These results were recently released by JMK Research and Analytics, a boutique consulting firm providing research and advisory services to Indian and Internation clients across solar, wind, and e-mobility segment. In addition to the electric two-wheelers, the brand is also working at improving the charging infrastructure in the country and has so far set up over 2000 charging stations while an additional 20,000 are in the pipeline. Hero Electric also announced its expansion plans of manufacturing facilities to manufacture over 1 million EVs by 2025. Having said this, Hero Electric currently has over seven hundred dealerships in the country and is known to offer one of the best after-sales support. The brand also continues to lead the transformation of green mobility in India.
