We have seen a lot of electric scooters in the market but when it comes to bikes, we haven't got such instances except the Revolt. It is the second electric bike and it is from India's number one bike manufacturer, Hero. Hero Electric has unveiled its first all-electric bike, the AE 47 which offers a range of over 160 kilometres.
It is the first bike from Hero Electric and it has come up with a bang. A range of over 160 kilometres in ECO mode and a top speed of 85 km/h. It gets powered by a 4000 W electric motor which can run up to 85 kmph.
The battery pack is a 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery with which can be fully charged in 4 hours. It also gets a digital driver's display and it might also get range indication, charge time and other connected features. We would love if Hero Electric plonks in ABS in the production-spec AE 47 as electric bikes can't be judged by CC to mandate the rules for safety features.
