Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India kicked off the new year bandwagon with the launch of the 2023 Activa 6G. In order to further expand its line-up in the affordable two-wheeler segment, the Japanese brand is ready with an all-new 100cc bike that will square off with the undisputed king of the segment, the Hero Splendor.

Honda New 100cc Bike Splendor Rival: What To Expect?
As the bike will be targeted at the entry-level affordable segment, it will surely endow a simple design, something in line with the brand's CD 110 Dream Deluxe. Furthermore, carrying the 100cc engine, we can expect outstanding fuel efficiency figures from the two-wheeler. As it will be positioned below the CD 110 Dream Deluxe which is priced at Rs. 71,133 (ex-showroom), Honda will definitely launch the vehicle well below the Rs. 70,000 mark. For reference, its immediate rival, the Hero Splendor Plus is priced in the range of Rs. 72,076 to Rs. 73,396 (ex-showroom). The 100cc engine will be a single-cylinder air-cooled unit, putting out around 8 odd bhp and 8 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Following the latest market standards, the two-wheeler will likely come equipped with Fuel Injection technology.

If some media reports are to be believed, the new 100cc motorcycle is ready and Honda will likely launch it in March this year. Once launched, the new motorcycle will rival the likes of the Hero Splendor Plus, Splendor Plus XTEC, Hero HF Deluxe, HF 100 and Bajaj Platina 100 amongst others.
