Honda NS125LA Scooter Details
Speaking of its design, the NS125LA is a neo-retro mix of outlooks. It has curves and large body panels of old-school scooters but it gets the latest elements as well. The LED lights, chrome, alloy wheels, and disc brakes, make up the latest tech. Meanwhile, the curvy and bulky design comprises more traditional scooters. Additionally, designers have used a subtle amount of chrome on its body to make the design timeless.
However, the global model of the NS125LA comes with a decent amount of features. It gets a full-digital LCD instrument console. Additionally, it gets Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones on the global model. Meanwhile, the LED headlight is supported with LED turn indicators. Also, the U-shaped LED taillight looks uber cool on it. The NS also gets keyless ignition and USB phone charging as well.
Mechanically, it gets a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor. This engine makes a peak power of 8.9 bhp& 9.8 Nm of peak torque. A CVT gearbox is used on its international model. Honda has also equipped it with front disc brakes & single-channel ABS internationally. Speaking of the Indian patent, Honda has been known for patenting its global models. However, a lot of patents never made it to production in India. Hence, claiming that it will get launched would be an overstatement.
Verdict
If, by any chance, Honda launches it in India; the NS125LA will be a strong rival in its segment. Its direct competition involves the Suzuki Access 125 & the Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid in India.
