The Honda NT1100 Tourer is one of the most talked-about offerings in the global markets and is based on the CRF1100L Africa Twin. The Japanese brand recently filed for a trademark request in the Indian market, thus sparking rumours about a launch soon. Once launched, the Honda NT1100 Tourer will rival the bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX and the Triumph Tiger 900 GT. Having said this, here are all the details that you should check out about the upcoming Honda NT1100 Tourer bike in India.
For starters, the new NT1100 Tourer features an extremely capable mechanical setup with long-travel suspension and a powerful powertrain that gives it enough capabilities to tackle most of the terrains. The bike is underpinned by a steel double0cradle frame with a bolt-on aluminium subframe while the suspension setup consists of 43 mm Showa USD forks at the front and Showa mono-shock suspension at the rear. The bike boasts suspension travel of 150 mm, which is commendable for a bike of this size and weight.

Powering the NT1100 ADV is a 1084 cc, parallel-twin petrol motor that churns out 102 hp and 104 Nm of peak torque. In the global markets, the bike can be had with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT gearbox with an optional quickshifter. The braking setup consists of 310mm floating discs at the front while the rear wheels get a single 256 mm disc setup. On the features front, the bike comes equipped with Honda's Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), wheelie control, three default riding modes (Urban Rain, and Tour) and two customisable riding modes.
Other features include a 6.5-inch TFT Touch Panel COnsole with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth while other standard features like heated grips, throttle by wire, self-cancelling indicator, and emergency stop indicators are also offered. While the brand is yet to reveal the official launch timeline of the bike in India, we are expecting the bike to be priced from around Rs 12-15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant.
