The RS concept is based on the current-generation Honda City and Honda BR-V. The sub-4.3-meter SUV will slot in below the HR-V in Honda's global line-up.
Honda has confirmed that they are working on an India-specific RS as well, but for now, it will first launch in Indonesia. In India, the Honda RS will directly compete against the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the Kia Seltos.

Honda RS Concept - Design
The Honda RS concept that was unveiled in Indonesia is based on the Honda BR-V. The latter was discontinued here in India, due to stringent BS6 norms. The RS for India will be based on the current generation City.
Going by the initial looks of the SUV, the RS concept model carries styling cues from the bigger Honda HR-V. Theres a strong on-road presence. The bonnet looks sturdy and the wraparound angular headlamps at the edge of the bonnet give it a menacing look. The grille blends in neatly with the front bumper, which in turn houses two sleek, triangle-shaped air vents on both sides. Theres a skid underneath both the front and rear bumpers. At the rear, the taillights are joined by an LED strip. This trend is noticeable in most upmarket SUVs and sedans. The RS Concepts large wheel arches also look practical, and confidence-inducing to take it off-road.
The RS Concept comes across as a coupe SUV. It is a roof that tapers down to the angular tailgate. Its shoulder lines are prominent and the chunky body claddings on the lower part of the door further contribute to the off-road feel.

Price
