There is a possibility that the Hyundai Stargazer will be based on a version of Cretas platform that also underpins the recently launched Alcazar. The upcoming MPVs dimensions might be quite similar to the Mahindra Marazzo. If size is taken into consideration, Hyundai Stargazer will compete with Suzuki Ertiga and in Indonesia. In fact, it will also compete with the likes of Daihatsu Xenia, Toyota Rush, Suzuki XL7, and Mitsubishi XPander.

The petrol variant would be a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 113 bhp of maximum power and 145 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel version will get the 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that churns out 113 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque mated to manual and automatic gearbox options.

It could also get a better-refined engine, and it is likely to be the 159PS, 2.0L petrol engine that powers the Alcazar. So, are you waiting for the launch of the Hyundai Stargazer?
