Let's delve into the technical side first. The KIA EV3 offers two battery choices: one with a 58.3 kWh capacity and a larger one with 81.4 kWh. However, it's likely that in India, we'll only see the smaller option, the 58.3 kWh, available. Similarly, the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to debut with a similar battery pack for the Indian market.

Both models are anticipated to feature front-wheel drive. So, it's probable that when these EVs hit Indian roads, the focus will be on the smaller battery option to keep costs in check, as the larger battery options tend to be more expensive.

The Kia EV3 will be equipped with a 150kW electric motor, delivering 201 bhp and 283 Nm of torque. In contrast, the Creta may offer slightly lower output compared to the Kia. Hyundai's Creta is expected to be a bit more affordable in its range, while Kia might position itself in the premium segment.
