It looks like Hyundai Motor India Ltd isnt done with rejigging the variants of the Venue. After doing away with alloy wheels from the SX trim, the carmaker has now launched the Executive version. It has also axed the entry-level trims from the diesel engine variant. Not just this, apart from introducing the Hyundai Venue Executive edition, the carmaker has even introduced a new S(O) trim. The Maruti Vitara Brezza-rival now retails in a price range of Rs 6.92 lakh to Rs 11.78 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Hyundai Venue Executive is exclusively available with the 1.5-litre diesel engine variant, while the S(O) trim is on offer on both 1.0-litre turbocharged and 1.5-litre diesel versions. The price list has been provided below -

Compared to the S trim, the S(O) version gets a handful of additional features, including projector headlights with LED DRLs, corner headlamp feature, 16-inch steel rims that mimic the look of alloys and companys Supervision instrument console. The new trim even comes with a 2-DIN infotainment unit that supports Bluetooth and USB, steering-mounted audio controllers, all four power windows, cooled glove compartment and remote locking feature.
On the other hand, the recently introduced Hyundai Venue Executive trim finds itself slotted between the SX and SX(O) trims and is based on the former but get some features of the latter, including Electronic Stability Control (ESP), remote entry and go, Hill Start Assist (HAS), push-button start-stop, rear wash-wipe, Supervision instrument console and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). It also features 16-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, the Bluelink connected car tech has been updated with voice commands support to operate sunroof.
Other than the introducing the Hyundai Venue Executive and S(O) variants, the carmaker has decided to axe as many as 6 trim options, viz - Turbo S Manual Transmission, Turbo S DCT, Turbo S iMT, Turbo SX(O) Manual Transmission, S Diesel and E Diesel.
