The 2022 Kia EV6 will be a hatchback-styled EV, based on the same E-GMP platform that underpins the Ioniq-5. It is expected to launch in India in 2022.

Kia Motors India is slated to launch the EV6 here in India later this year. The hatchback-styled electric vehicle was unveiled in the USA, where itll come in three trims the entry-level EV6 Light, mid-spec EV6 Wind, and the top-spec EV6 GT Line. The Light trim comes with a rear-wheel configuration, while both the Wind and GT-Line get a bigger battery and the option of a Dual Motor e-all-wheel drivetrain.
Prices start from $ 42,115 ( = ex-showroom India, Rs. 31,58,603) with the Light variant, the mid-spec Wind variant starts from $ 48, 215 (= ex-showroom India Rs. 36,16,100). The top -spec GT Line costs $ 52,415 (= ex-showroom India, Rs. 39,31, 098) with the RWD, and $ 57,115 (=ex-showroom India, Rs. 42,83,596) with the AWD.

KIA EV6 Light
The base model will be powered by a 58-kilowatt battery pack attached to a 167 hp electric motor, that produces 349 Nm of torque. The base-spec EV6 Light can do 0-96 mph in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 185 kmph. The battery pack is good for 373 km of range on a single charge. Aside from, 19-inch wheels and LED lights on the outside, the cabin is quite spruced up as well. For starters theres the dual 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The front row gets heated seats, and the driver's seat further gets a power-adjustability with memory functions. The second-row seats get recline and slide options as well, along with automatic climate controls. Connectivity options like Wireless phone charger, and phone-key capability is also present. Safety features like automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear occupant alert, forward collision warning with cyclist and pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, and driver attention monitor, are included as standard.

KIA EV6 Wind
The EV6 Wind gets the benefit of a bigger 74.4 kWh battery and more powerful e-motor that produces 225 hp and 349 Nm of torque. This setup is good for 498 kms of range. Theres also the optional 320-hp and 604 Nm dual-motor set-up that is good for 440 kms of range. Some of the standout features in this trim include a gloss-black exterior trim, power liftgate, vehicle-to-load charging (V2L), power passenger seats wrapped in artificial leather seats. The front seats get ventilated options, and the Meridian sound system finishes off the premium quotient. Furthermore, there are optional features like surround-view camera blind-spot cameras, remote smart park, and heated steering wheel.
KIA EV6 GT-Line
The Kia EV6 GT-Line is the top-of-the-line trim level which gets the same battery and drivetrain options as the Wind trim. Aesthetically, the GT-Line is more aggressive-looking than the three. Some of the exclusive features in this trim include, automatically pop-out door handles, power sunroof, auto up/down the front passenger window, and rear park distance warning. The GT-Line also gets the benefit of 20-inch wheels and suede upholstery, along with Highway Drive-Assist 2 that gets you the benefit of automatic lane change, electrochromic rearview mirror, etc.
