Kia Carnival Facelift: Sneak Peek At Stylish Changes
The recent photos appear to have been taken during the shooting of the updated MPV advertisements. The new design is a significant change from the old look of the pre-facelift Carnival, which was previously known as the Kia KA4 in India.
The spy shots confirm the design cues of this upcoming facelift. Up front, you'll notice a more upright nose with a wide grille that has chrome details. The front bumper is smooth and doesn't have many cuts or creases. The headlamps have an L-shaped design with daytime running lamps to match. The same L-shaped theme continues with the tail lamps, which are connected by an LED light bar, similar to what you see on the updated Seltos and Kia's electric SUVs, including the upcoming EV9.

There's a small air intake below, surrounded by a faux brushed aluminium skid plate, giving the MPV a premium appearance. The tailgate is flat with the license plate in the middle, and the rear bumper combines matte black and chrome elements. On the sides, there are chrome details, and the alloy wheels have a new design, resembling the ones on newer Kia models, especially the electric SUVs like the EV5 and EV9.
Inside, the dashboard and technology will receive updates, and there will be various seating options. The Carnival will feature new-look seats from the EV9 and is expected to offer more features, including twin curved displays for instrumentation and entertainment. Safety technology like ADAS will also be included. Higher trim levels will come with a dual sunroof setup and roof rails for added style.
Verdict
Exciting news awaits as the India-bound Carnival gets closer to its global debut. We'll soon uncover more details about this unique MPV. What makes it interesting in India is that it doesn't have a direct competitor; it fits snugly between the Innova Hycross and Toyota Vellfire, offering something different and special in this segment. This positioning sets it apart and makes it a distinctive option for potential buyers.
