Lambretta was a renowned Italian two-wheeler manufacturer noted for producing heavy-duty scooters. Because of their appealing designs and frequent appearances in vintage movies, the brand's scooters were adored by devotees. The company had a strong following in India and was rivals with Vespa and Bajaj. The brand disappeared in the middle of the 1970s and went off the Indian roads.
After so many years, the Italian brand is getting ready to return to the market with new investments and a new owner. With its production base in India, Lambretta is prepared to once again operate on Indian roads. India's manufacturing base will also operate as a hub for exports for other nations.

Nowadays, there is fierce competition in the scooter market, and brands are responding by introducing more modern scooters. The design of Lambretta is well-known, so if it can revive that retro charm while maintaining a modern vibe, the comeback will be a success and well-received by the public.
The Dutch investor Walter Scheffrahn is notable for reviving the Lambretta name. Mr. Walter is also bringing back the Innocenti company, which created the Lambretta in Milan, Italy, and grew internationally. The two scooters, the GX350 and X300, were introduced by Lambretta at Milan Design Week 2022 earlier in June 2022. The brand's comeback in the European market was significant. Both scooters displayed the characteristic Lambbretta design language on the design front. Both scooters were displayed with a 300cc petrol engine and a number of cutting-edge features.
