Visually, the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 doesn't stray far from its predecessor. It maintains that signature upright stance and sharp front end with a tall, adjustable windscreen rounding out the look The rear is also distinctive, featuring a prominent taillight and a luggage rack while the Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black color options give the Versys 1100 a stealthy, attractive appearance.

Engine

For 2025, the Kawasaki Versys 1100 steps up with a larger 1100cc inline-four engine. This powerplant generates a healthy 135 PS at 9,000 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. This bump in power comes from some internal tweaks, including a longer stroke, higher compression, redesigned camshafts, and a refined intake system as per the brand.

Features

The Kawasaki Versys 1100's lighting is entirely LED, and the rider interacts with a negative LCD display. This screen shows speed, distance (both total and trip), fuel level, and all the data related to the bike's electronic systems. You'll find two power modes and traction control that can be turned off. An IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) is onboard, enabling cornering management and cruise control, and a few more.

Hardware

The Versys 1100's foundation is a twin-tube aluminum frame, complemented by 43mm upside-down forks adjustable for rebound and preload. The rear suspension features a gas-charged monoshock, also adjustable for rebound and damping, with the added convenience of remote preload adjustment. Braking is handled by twin 310mm floating discs up front, squeezed by radially-mounted, four-piston monobloc calipers, and a 260mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear.

Price And Rivals

Kawasaki has priced the Versys 1100 at Rs. 12.90 lakh ex-showroom which makes it even cheaper than the old Versys 1000. It rivals other premium adventure tourers like the BMW M 1000 XR, Ducati Multistrada V4, and others.

Verdict

The Versys 1100 stays true to what Kawasaki is known for, its distinct styling and outright sheer performance. Given its sweet spot of pricing which is comparatively more affordable than the one it replaces makes it an even more intersting buy than before. However, it still remains to be seen how it fares against sthe rivals which are also some pretty serious contendors for the top spot.
