Kia Clavis Latest Spy Shots Bring Spotlight To Its Design Even Better
Despite heavy camouflage, these close-up images reveal several details of the upcoming vehicle. The front features a short, upright bonnet, and vertical LED DRLs positioned at the edges of the bumper, framing the LED headlamps. A prominent grille section sits between the headlights. The alloy wheels, sporting a dual-tone finish, are particularly eye-catching, and the front parking sensors are visible. From the side, the vehicle's boxy stance is evident, complemented by roof rails and a shark fin antenna. Overall, it presents a premium look in a highly competitive segment.
Recent images of the KIA Clavis test mule previously, have unveiled new interior details. The SUV will feature a distinctive two-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel, with visible steering-mounted controls. Additionally, the Clavis will come equipped with automatic wipers and a connected screen setup for both the infotainment system and the instrument cluster, similar to the KIA Sonet. Expected features include wireless charging, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Engine Details
The KIA Clavis is anticipated to offer powertrains similar to those found in the KIA Sonet. This includes a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Customers will have the option to choose between manual and automatic transmissions for these engines.
Kia has yet to announce an official launch date for the Clavis, but it is anticipated to debut around the Diwali festive season. The expected price range for the model is between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
