KIA EV5 electric-SUV details and images in production ready form has been surfaced online. The KIA EV5 is ready to make debut on 25 August in international market. KIA EV5 - Design & Specifications
The dimensions of the EV5 are 4,615 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Its design includes elegant LED headlights featuring LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a dynamic front bumper design with a silver skid plate. Along the sides, you'll find integrated door handles, aerodynamically styled alloy wheels, and a charging port located near the front wheel arch. Moving to the rear, the EV features a sleek tail lamp design that spans the width of the tailgate, although the lights are not connected. Also, the EV5 features a panoramic sunroof.
The KIA EV5 will be constructed upon the 800V E-GMP platform, featuring a MacPherson strut suspension. Powering the EV will be an 82kWh BYD Blade battery, expected to provide an approximate range of 600 kilometers. Initial launch specifications include a single-motor configuration, generating 215bhp and 310Nm of maximum torque. The possibility of introducing a dual-motor setup may be considered by the brand at a later stage.

In terms of features, specific information is currently limited. However, the EV is expected to incorporate a comprehensive range of contemporary amenities. These are likely to encompass a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety, and various other functionalities.
Verdict
The initial debut of the KIA EV5 is scheduled for the global market, with its introduction planned at the Chengdu Motor Show in China. Presently, KIA has introduced the EV6 in the Indian market, and there have been indications that the subsequent electric vehicle for the Indian market could be the EV9.
