Kia Seltos: Expanded Palette
The Seltos HTE Base variant now offers a choice of seven captivating colours: imperial blue, pewter olive, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, clear white, and sparkling silver. If you opt for the HTK variant, you'll find the same colour palette available.
Meanwhile, the HTK+, HTX, and HTX+ variants share the same colour options with a slight tweak. Instead of clear white, they offer Glacier white. But if you're eyeing the GTX+(S) and GTX+ top variants, you'll find two extra dual-colour choices: glacier white pearl and intense red, both accompanied by aurora black pearl. On the other hand, the X-Line (S) and X-Line models stand out with their exclusive matte graphite colour option.

Kia Seltos: Under The Hood
The Kia Seltos offers three engine choices to suit different driving preferences. First up is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 113 bhp and 144 nm of torque. It's available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
For those who prefer diesel, there's a 1.5-litre option producing 114 bhp and 250 nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) for smooth shifting without a clutch, or a traditional 6-speed torque converter automatic.
For a bit more oomph, there's a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine cranking out 158 bhp and 253 nm of torque. It's offered with three transmission choices: a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT for effortless gear changes, and an optional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
Verdict
Expanding the color choices for the base variant is a great move for customers who seek more diverse options. This update allows them to enjoy a wider range of colours similar to those available in higher variants.
