Kia Seltos is a renowned SUV which made its India debut in 2019 and ever since its launch, it is quite popular among Indian masses. To frame it precisely, it even beat the pre-lift Hyundai Creta to become one of the top-selling SUVs of the country. Now, Kia has introduced a top of the line variant of Seltos which is also named as Gravity but sadly it will not come to India.
Kia Seltos Gravity has made its mark in its home country and we wonder if it will soon be seen in India or not. Let me start by sharing the details then it gets both exteriors and interiors enhancements. At the front, notice the chrome grille which is redesigned and now receives 3d element design.
To contrast the chrome finish at the front, the ORVMs now receive a silver finish. The same pattern can be observed on door handles and rub strips. Moving on to the side profile then it now gets machine-cut 18-inch alloy wheels which are finished in dual-tone. The rear more or less looks the same except for the silver-finished skid plate which enhance the sportiness of the SUV.

Like the exteriors, the interiors however receive subtle change like the inclusion of a new grey colour scheme on the upholstery. Being the top of the line trim, it gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connect. This lets you control the as much as 33+ connected features with the help of your smartphone only.
What's changed is the top-rated safety features on the Gravity variant of the Seltos. The additional features such as forward collision prevention assistance which helps in avoiding collision with another vehicle when your Seltos Gravity is at an intersection. Another feature is the rear passenger notification which reminds the driver of the rear passengers sitting in the car or exiting.

Under the hood, the Gravity displaces 1.6-litre turbo petrol and 1.6L turbo diesel. The former makes as much as 174 bhp which is exactly 36 bhp more than the Indian version. India-spec Seltos gets a smaller 1.4L turbo petrol which makes 138 bhp. These both 1.6L motors are mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox in Korean markets.
