KIA India is all set to unveil its latest offering for the Indian market on 19 December. The brand will unveil its small SUV Syros for the market and ahead of the launch the brand has released multiple teasers. KIA Syros
The upcoming KIA Syros will be the new entry to the sub-4 metre SUV segment and it will sit below the Sonet in KIA's lineup. The Syros has been spotted on test multiple times and gave multiple hints about its design and other highlights. It will come with a 3-pod LED headlamp setup with vertical LED DRLs and a large front grille. The side profile will get a prominent shoulder line, and flush-type door handles, among other design highlights. The rear of the SUV will get L-shaped LED taillamps and a boxy design. The upcoming Syros takes design inspiration from the KIA EV9 and other latest KIA offerings featuring the Opposite United design philosophy.
KIA has released the teasers of the upcoming Syros's exterior but the interior is yet to come out. We can expect the SUV to get all the bells and whistles that will include a dual-display setup for infotainment and instrument clusters, automatic climate control, wireless charging, a sunroof, and ventilated seats, 6-airbags as standard, ISOFIX among other things.

KIA Syros Powertrain
The Syros is expected to get the same engine options as the Sonet. It will get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 120 PS of power, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 PS of power. These engine options will be mated with manual and automatic transmission options.

KIA Syros will be an important product for KIA in India. The brand is aiming the entry-level SUV segment which is currently booming in the Indian market. The Syros will go headon with the rivals like the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and other small SUVs available in the Indian market. The Syros looks good in teasers and it is expected to offer a good value for money to the customers.
